Description
Oysters
Cranberry Creek
Source: Chef’s Resource
Cranberry Creek Oysters are a Pacific Northwest oyster from one of the South Puget Sound oyster appellations in Washington State. They are farmed in Pickering Passage using the rack & bag method and are then finished on the beach to help harden their shells.
Cranberry Creeks have a very mild brininess which dominates the flavor for a while, then a crispness peeks through followed by a slight honeydew flavor and a long, lingering finish.
